Marguerite LeFleur Couc

     Marguerite was born on Sunday, 1 June 1664 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Pierre Couc & Marie Miteoumigou, a native American. She was christened there on 5 June 1664 in the Cathedral de l'Assomption.1 Marguerite married Jean Fafard, son of Francois Fafard and Marie Richard, before 31 December 1686 in Pays-d'-en-Haut.2 Jean & Marguerite had children: Marie Anne [1697-9/29/1752][m. 4/15/1723 Louis LaFeuillade dit Javillon], Marguerite [m. 5 May 1710 Jean-Baptiste Turpin] & Marie Madeleine.3
