     Jacqueline was born in 1637 in Orleans, Loiret, Centre, France. She was christened there in the Cathedral of Orleans.1 She immigrated from France to Quebec as one of the "Daughters of the King" in 1663.2 Jacqueline married Pierre Gaulin, son of Vincent Gaulin and Marie Bonnemer, on 21 April 1664 in Chateau-Richer, Montmorency County, Quebec, Canada, at the church of La Visitation-de-Notre-Dame.3 1667, Jacqueline and her husband, Pierre, were listed on the Canadian Census in Ste-Familie, Ile d'Orleans, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Pierre Gaulin [40 years] & Jacquette Lauvergnere [33 years].4 Jacqueline's husband, Pierre, died on 16 November 1677 in Ste-Familie, Ile d'Orleans, Quebec, Canada, leaving her a widow. Jacqueline remarried on 30 January 1679 Marc Barreau at Ste-Familillie I. O. 1681, Jacqueline was listed on the Canadian Census. Enumerated in this household were Marc Barreau [55 years] & Jacquette Lauvergnac [43 years].5
