Alice was born in England. Alice married Sir John de Drayton, son of Baldwin de Drayton and Idonia de Gimiles, circa 1280 in Drayton, Northamptonshire, England. Alice's husband, John, died in 1291 in Drayton, Northamptonshire, England, leaving her a widow.1 On 5 March 1319, Alice and her son, Simon, devise an instrument leasing all of Alice's dower rights to Simon for her life. This in essence gave Simon full rights to his entire inheritance from his father.2
