William Judson1

M, b. circa 1593, d. before 15 December 1662
     William was born circa 1593 in England. William married Grace (?) circa 1618 in England. He resided early at Concord, Massachusetts. In 1639, he was in Hartford, Connecticut & by 1644, in Stratford. In 1647, he removed to New Haven. William's wife, Grace, died on 29 September 1659 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut, leaving him a widower. Prior to his 2nd marriage, he gave his three sons his Stratford lands. William married 2nd Elizabeth (?) circa 1660 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. She was 1st married to Mr. Heaton & 2nd to Benjamin Wilmot Jr. William made his will on 20 November 1661 at New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. He speaks of his old age. He mentions his son, Joseph as being his eldest son. He then mentions his sons: Joseph & Jeremiah who are to have his interests in his iron works. He mentions also his wife's daughters: Hanna, Mercy & Elizabeth and a servant, Peter Simpson. William departed this life before 15 December 1662 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. The inventory of William's estate was taken on Friday, 15 December 1662.
