He was made freeman 18 May 1631 in Roxbury. John married 2nd Margery (?) circa 1633. It is possible they married in England prior to this & she immigrated with the family. John's wife, Margery, died on 9 June 1655 in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower.3 John married 3rd Grace (?) circa 1656 in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. John made his will on 30 September 1659 at Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.





He mentions his daughter Mary receives her portion. He leaves 1/6 to William Parks of Roxbury 60 pounds. John departed this life on Tuesday, 30 September 1659 in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. He was buried at Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, in the St. Eustry Cemetery. His will was probated on 12 October 1659. The inventory of John's estate was taken on Wednesday, 15 October 1659. His estate was valued at 623pounds. 1 shilling 6 pence.
