Jeffery [36 Ontario], Arvilla Cecelia [31 Ontario], Morell Blaine [1 Ontario], Matthew [80 Novia Scotia] & Margurite [77 England].⁸ Matthew departed this life on Sunday, 22 December 1895 in Rochester Township at age 85 years, 2 months and 12 days.⁹ He was buried at Olinda in Olinda Cemetery. His tombstone has his inscrition on one side and his wifew's is on another. His inscription reads: In Memory of Matthew Jefferfy - Died Dec. 24 1895.¹⁰
