     Richard was born in Queen Anne's Parish, Prince George County, Maryland. He was christened there on 21 January 1720/21 in St. Barnabas Church. Richard married Sarah Jacob in 1741 in Maryland. Richard and Sarah had children: Sarah [1741-1774][m. 1756 George Conn],Ruth [3/__/1743- 9/26/1824][m. 9/29/1760 James Conn], Elizabeth [1744-1795][m. Joseph Jones], Jacob [1746][m. 1770 Jean Conn], Alice [8/26/1747-1792][m. 1767 Jonathan Montgomery Church], Martha [1751], Rachel [1753][m. 10/17/1795 Samuel Farr], Jemima [1754-3/29/1803][m. 1790 Kidd Morsell] & Carolina Matilda [1756][m. 1/30/1795 Joseph Peach Elson]. Richard made his will on 29 September 1791 at Prince George's County, Maryland.

In the name of God Amen. I Richard Isaac of Prince George’s County State of Maryland being sick and weak of body but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to leave this would when it shall please God to call me hence do therefore make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and following that is to say first and principally I commit my soul to the hand of Almighty God and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of Executrixes hereafter named and my just debts are paid. I devise and bequeath as follows Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Ruth Conn wife of James Conn one hundred acres of land fifty acres of which is known by the name of Martins Fancy the other fifty acres to be made up of a tract known by the name of Isaacs Park and to be taken out of Isaacs Park on the north side of a road that leads from my house to Martins Fancy to her the said Ruth Conn her heir and assigns forever, Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Jones wife of Joseph Jones forty acres of land whereon she now lives it being part of a tract known by the name of Isaacs Addition lying on the Paint Branch to her the said Elizabeth Jones her heir and assigns forever. Item I give and bequeath to my son Jacob Isaac my rifle and wearing apparel. I give and bequeath unto my three daughters Sarah Conn wife of George Conn the sum of thirty pounds current money and to Alice Church the wife of Jonathan Church the sum of thirty pound current money and likewise to Elizabeth Jones wife of Joseph Jones the sum of thirty pound current money to be paid to them and each of them their heirs and assigns respectively within four years after my decease by my executrixes hereafter named. Item I devise and bequeath unto my dear and beloved wife Sarah all the rest and residue of my estate both real and personal during her natural life or widowhood and after her decease I give and bequeath the whole of the said estate unto my daughters Martha Isaac Rachel Isaac Jemima Isaac and Carolina Matilda Isaac my will is that all my land not above devised and all my Negros stock of horses cattle sheep and hogs likewise all my household furniture and plantation utentials also the crop of tobacco corn fodder wheat and rye to be equally divided amongst my four last mentioned daughters in equal portions share and share alike. And last I do hereby constitute and appoint my four daughters Martha Isaac Rachel Isaac Jemima Isaac and Caroline Matilda Isaac to by my sole executrixes of this my last will and testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me heretofore made ratifying and confirming this and none other to be my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have herunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty ninth day of September in the year of our Lord and God one thousand seven hundred and ninety one.

Signed sealed published and declard by Richard Isaac the above named testator as and forhis last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto: Robert Orme, Archibald Elson, Josiah Selby.
On the back of the aforegoing will was thus endorsed, to wit: Prince George’s County to witJune 25th 1792 came Robert Orme and Archibald Elson two of the subscribing witnesses to the with last will and testament of Richard Isaac late of said county deceased and made oath on the Holy Evavgels of Almighty God that they did see the testator Richard Isaac sign abd seal this will and heard him publish pronounce and declared the same to be his last will and testament that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehensions of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding and that they together with Josiah W. Selby the third witness respectively subscribed their names as witnesses to this will in the presence and at the request of the testator and the presence of each other.2

Richard departed this life before 25 June 1792 in Queen Anne Parish, Prince George County, Maryland. His will was probated on 25 June 1792.
