     Francoise-Louise was born circa 1642 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France, at the parish of St-Eustache. She was the daughter of Jacques Huchet & Marie Daunais. In the spring of 1664, Francoise-Louise left her home in France, as one of the "Filles de Roi" aboard the ship, "St-Jean-Baptiste de Dieppe", under the command of Captain Pierre le Moyne, departing from Dieppe. Her uncle & aunt, Charles Danet & Marie Deshates, accompanied her. She brought with her a dowry of 500 libres They arrived at Quebec the 30th of June..1,2,3 A contract for the marriage of Guilaume Bonhomme & Francoise-Louise Huchet was signed on 12 October 1664. She was buried there in the Notre Dame Cemetery on Wednesday, 13 May 1699.9
