Blanche of Lancaster - House of Plantagenet

     Blanche of Lancaster - was born on Thursday, 25 March 1345 in Bolingbroke, Lincolnshire, England, at Bolingbroke Castle. She was the daughter of Henry Plantagenet of Grosmont & Isabel de Beaumont.1 Blanche of Lancaster - married John of Gaunt - House of Plantagenet, son of Edward III - House of Plantagenet - , King of England and Phillipa - Queen of England, on 19 May 1359 in Reading, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, at Reading Abbey. The king gave Blanche expensive gifts of jewelry.1 In 1361, she & her sister, Maud, were co-heiresses of their father's estate. Blanche departed this life on Monday, 12 September 1368 in Staffordshire, England, at Tutbury Castle. At her death, she was described as young & pretty.1 She was buried at London, County Middlesex, England, in St. Paul Cathedral.2
