Gilbert Holcombe

     Gilbert was born in 1565 in Holcombe, Devonshire, England. Gilbert married Anne Courtenay, daughter of Peter Courtenay of Landrake and Katherine Reskymer, circa 1593. Gilbert and Anne had children: William [1595], Alford [1605], Thomas [1605-1657], Alfred and Thomas not twins, Roger [1607-1648], Anne [1607-1648], Nicholas [1611-1628] & Gilbert [1619-1619]. Their son Thomas immigrated to America and settled in Hartford County, Connecticut. Gilbert departed this life on Saturday, 14 October 1623 in Mylor, County Cornwall, England.
