     Edward was born before 1780 in Wayne Township, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. The 1810 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Wayne Township, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, the family of Edward Hagins [20010:11010].1 Edward married Abigail Ross, daughter of William Ross, in 1814 in Wayne Township, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. The family removed to Ohio in the early 1820's where they were farmers. The 1820 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Short Creek, Harrison County, Ohio, the family of Edward Hagen [20001:2001].2







The 1840 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Washington Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, the family of Edward Hagan [000200001:01002].3 Edward departed this life circa 1850 in Ohio.
