     Marie-Josephe was born on Friday, 7 March 1727 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon, Levis County, Quebec, Canada. She was christened there on 8 March 1727 in St-Joseph Church.1 Marie-Josephe married Louis Galoudet on 21 September 1751 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, at the Basilica of Notre Dame.2 They had no children.3 Marie-Josephe's husband, Louis, died in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade, Champlain County, Quebec, Canada, leaving her a widow. Marie-Josephe departed this life on Wednesday, 30 December 1801 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade at age 74 years, 9 months and 23 days. She was buried there in the church of Ste-Anne on Saturday, 2 January 1802.4
