     Vera Grace was born on Wednesday, 10 December 1884 in Sylvan Center, Washtenaw County, Michigan. She was the daughter of Frank Porter Glazier & Henrietta Geddes.1 Vera Grace married Rice Alva Howell, son of Floyd Parshall Howell and Lucy Ann Mapes, on 16 June 1909 in Wenatchee, Chelan County, Washington, at the home of Ver'a brother, Harold. They first rented a home at 6509 10th Avenue NW and soon after purchased the house. 13 April 1910, Vera listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Seattle. Enumerated in this household were Rice Alva Howell [25 Michigan], his wife: Vera [25 Michigan], & daughter, Geraldine [1 mo. Washington]. They had been married one year with one child, one living.2 Vera departed this life on Thursday, 30 June 1910 in Wenatchee at the home of Ver'a brother, Harold at age 25 years, 6 months and 20 days.

Obituary: BABY'S MOTHER DIES - GRIM REAPER VISITS HAPPY HOME NEAR LEWIS AND CLARK SCHOOL - Mrs. Vera Grace Howell died in her brother's home, near the Lewis and Clark Schoolhouse, this morning at 3 o'clock. She was born in 1884 and married Rice A Howell here in Wenatchee on the 16th of June last year.
The young couple lived in Seattle until the 11th of May, when they came to visit Mrs. Howell's brother, Harold Glazier. Her mother came from Chesea, Michigan to be in attendance during the sickness. A happy, lovable baby, three months old, is in the grief-stricken home, destined now to face the world without a mother's love.

She was buried there in Wenatchee City Cemetery on Saturday, 2 July 1910. Her daughter, Geraldine, placed a marker on her grave when she was an adult.
