     Mary was born circa 1767 in Chester County, Pennsylvania.2 Mary married Samuel Godshalk circa 1784 in Doylestown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Samuel & Mary had children: Jacob [ca. 1785], Agnes [ca. 1787], Nancy [ca 1789], Mary & Abraham [12/29/1791]. Mary departed this life on Saturday, 22 June 1793 in Doylestown Township. She was buried there at Doylestown Township in the Mennonite Cemetery. The inscription on her tomstone reads: Maria Godshalk [German lettering] D 22 June 1793.

[S506] Note: Mary's birthdate appears to be in error, as included and noted by Joseph Wenger in his Geil History, as she would not be old enough to have her children as date was given for her youngest and per early census reports. It seems like she must be the first born child of Jacob & Anna. klm.
