     Abraham was born on Thursday, 25 May 1769 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Abraham married Mary Garges on 17 September 1795 in Doylestown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Abe & Mary had children: Henry [10/08/1796-3/14/1858][m. Mary Silvius], John [1/22/1799-10/19/1889][m. Mary Driver], Jacob [10/05/1802-8/28/1883]], Sarah [2/01/1807], William [8/22/1808-2/06/1895][m. after 1860 Anna C.], Abraham [10/15/1812-2/14/1894][m. after 1860 Uree Fell], Priscilla [5/29/1816-3/12/1867] & George [6/22/1818-2/15/1879][m. Lydia Ann [Keppert ?].2 Abe moved with his father to Rockingham County, Virginia when he was 14 years old. Whe he was 26 years old, he moved back to Doylestown. It is here that he & his wife raised their family. The family belonged to the Mennonite Church. Abe was a weaver.3 Abraham departed this life on Monday, 15 February 1830 in Doylestown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Third Generation. 2 : 1) Abraham Geil, born in Pennsylvania, May 25, 1769, died Feb. 15, 1830. Mary Garges, born March 29, 1774, died _     . Married Sept. 17, 1795. Mennonites; weaver by occupation; Bucks Co., Pa. Mr. Geil, at the age of 14 years (1783), with his father, Jacob Geil, moved from Pennsylvania to Rockingham Co., Va. Abraham Geil, at the age of twenty-six years returned to Doylestown. Bucks Co., Pa., where he married, as above stated, and there spent the remainder of his life. It is said that Abraham Geil and his brothers were stalwart, robust men, filled with the spirit of "Young America" and of business. After maturity they returned to Pennsylvania, where they remained. Mennonites.

Died Aug. 28, 1883, Waterman]; Sarah [b. Feb. 1, 1807, 4 P. M, Archer]; William [b. Aug. 22, 1808, 5 P. M. Virgin]; Abraham [b. Oct. 15, 1812, Waterman]; Priscilla [b. May 29, 1816, never married. Died March 12, 1867. Crab]; George [b. June 22, 1818, Crab]. The above constellations were very much in practice in family records one hundred years ago.
