Jacques Froment

     Jacques was born circa 1662. He was son of Pierre Froment & Marie Cavalier. He was a soldier. Jacques married Elisabeth Lescarbot dit Bosseron, daughter of Jean Lescarbot dit Bosseron and Marie-Anne Baudouin, on 20 October 1717 in St-Sulpice, Quebec, Canada, at St-Sulpice Church.1 Jacques & Elisabeth had children: Marie-Charlotte [10/01/1717-5/28/1787][m. 1/08/1748 ierre Cadron dit St-Pierre], Marie-Rose [1719-1795][m. 6/04/1736 Joseph Larands], Louise-Agathe [9/08/1722-1/21/1770][m. 4/10/1741 Gabriel Laport & 2nd 2/20/1746 Jean-Baptiste Roberge] & Francois [9/16/1729][m. 6/30/1755 Thecle Mandeville].2,3 Jacques departed this life in St-Sulpice. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Sulpice on Sunday, 11 June 1747.3
