Peter de Eyton IV1

     Peter de was born circa 1271 in Eyton, Shropshire, England. In a charter with a date in the early 1320's, Peter assigns himself as Peter, son of Sir Peter de Eyton and that he has granted a right of way for a road through Lega, a portion of the Leonard-Lee estate he had inherited from his grandmother. Peter is found on several charters in the 1320's. On 28 April 1325, he is appointed as a commissioner and appears or three other writs in the same year, the last being on 20 September. These are the last that Peter is found on record.2 Peter departed this life before 13 August 1328 in Shropshire, England, at the Manor of Eyton. By this time, his son, John, is signing himself as Lord of Eyton.
