On 11 December 1644, he was christened at the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church in the City, County & State of New York.1 Jan married Apolonia Cornelissen Swits, daughter of Cornelis Claessen Swits and Ariaentje Cornelissen Trommels, on 8 November 1665 at the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church in the City, County & State of New York.2 Jan departed this life in 1706.
