It was drawn up by notary Giles Rageot. It notes that he was the son of Pierre Bergeron & Catherine Marchand - originally from St-Sourlin-du-Bois, La-Rochelle. And it notes that she was the daughter of Jean Du Mets & Jeanne Vedin..2 1681, Marguerite and her husband, Andre, were listed on the Canadian Census in Comte-de-Levis, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Andre Bergeron [38 years], his wife: Marguerite Dumets [22 years], Andre [7 years], Jean [5 years], Pierre [4 years] & Jacques [2 years].3
