     Richard was born circa 1320. He was Marshall & citizen of London. He lived on the westside of London in the Parish of St. Sepulchre - outside of Newgate. At this time, there was a wall aroung the city of London. Newgate was a gate into the city, probably added after the building of the wall therefore being Newgate. Richard made his will on 23 April 1361. He bequested one hundred Geneva Florins to his brother, John Fowler to assist him in finding his son, if he is living.1 Richard departed this life after 23 April 1361 in London, County Middlesex, England.
