     John was born before 9 February 1616/17 in Norwich, County Norfolk, England. On 9 February 1617, he was christened in Norwich, County Norfolk, England, at St. Mary Coslany Church. John married Elizabeth (?) before 1646. Elizabeth's maiden name was possibly Hurton.2 Sometime before his father wrote his will in 1657, John & Elizabeth went back to live in England. In 1661, they were living in Norwich.
