     Grace was born in 1666 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Her maiden name has been given as Braddick, Brockett, & Hallock.2 Grace married John Vail, son of Jeremiah Vail and Mary Folger, before 18 July 1684 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. On the 18th of July 1684, Grace Vail signed a deed with Joyce Vail. The deed was the joint act of Jeremiah Vail & John Vail. Also in 1685, John & Grace signed a deed with John's father & his wife Joyce. 1698, John and Grace and her husband, [ROF:Southold Town] werelisted on the Southold Town Census. Enumerated in this household were John Veale, Grace, John Junjr, Daniel, Samuel, Obadiah, Mary, Abigail, Irene, Tabitaha, Joyce. They come right after John Loring & his family.3 Grace departed this life on Tuesday, 18 May 1751 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.4
