     Sarah was born in Scotton, Lincolnshire, England. She was christened there on 25 April 1785.1 Sarah married William Bethel Colton, son of John Colton II and Mary Johnson, on 16 May 1814 in Wrawby at St. Mary the Virgin Church. They were married in the presence of: William Potter, William Hill, Elizabeth Cooper, Elizabeth Colton & Mary Wilkinson.2,3,4,5,6 Sarah departed this life in Brigg, Lincolnshire, England. She was buried at Wrawby in St. Mary the Virgin Churchyard.7
