Jean Berloin

M, b. 1670, d. 4 November 1740
     Jean was born in 1670 in St-Leger, Duex-Sevres, Poitou-Charentes, France. He was the son of Jacques Berlouin & Jeanne Charone. He was 1st married to Marguerite Forget on 7 November 1694. Jean married 2nd Marguerite-Catherine Delpesche, daughter of Bernard Delpesche dit Belair and Marguerite Jourdain, on 14 September 1705 in Ile-Jesus, Laval County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Francois-de-Sales Church.1 Jean & Marguerite;Catherine had children: Cecile [6/17/1706-8/04/1783][m. 11/15/1723 Joseph Alard], Pierre [10/31/1708-6/29/1773][m. 4/17/1730 Marie Agnes Brunet], Marie [11/16/1710-11/21/1710], Jean-Baptiste [3/29/1712][m. 11/16/1733 Marie Francoise Labelle], Joseph [4/16/1714-8/15/1760], Joseph [9/11/1715-7/20/1758][m. 4/24/1741 Marie Ethier] & Jean-Baptiste [6/20/1718-8/10/1718].2 Jean departed this life on Friday, 4 November 1740 in Ile-Jesus at age 70 years. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Francois-de-Sales on Saturday, 5 November 1740.3
