He was christened there on 29 December 1676 in the Basilica of Notre Dame.1 Jean married Marguerite Grenon on 9 November 1699 in Pointe-aux-Tremples, Neuville, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Francois-de-Sales Church.2 Jean & Marguerite had children: Marie-Catherine [4/17/1701-5/02/1701], Jean-Baptiste [7/07/1702-3/20/1769][m. 1/10/1724 Marie-Charlotte Houde, 2nd 2/18/1743 Anne Choret, 3rd 1/25/1761 Catherine Croteau & 4th 2/04/1765 Marguerite Henriette Nogue], Marie Louise [4/12/1704-6/20/1785][m. 5/02/1729 Francois Dussault & 2nd 2/03/1743 Jean-Baptiste Cochon], Charles-Francois [9/24/1706-5/10/1775][m. 8/11/1733 Marie Louise Huard], Marie-Angelique [11/11/1708-11/01/1754][m. 1/15/1731 Francois Houde].3 Jean's wife, Marguerite, died on 19 May 1709 in St-Nicolas, Levis County, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. Jean married 3rd Madeleine Bourassa on 18 May 1719 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon, Levis County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Joseph Church.6 Jean's wife, Madeleine, died on 9 March 1742 in St-Antoine-de-Tilly, Lotbiniere County, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. Jean departed this life on Wednesday, 10 January 1753 in St-Antoine-de-Tilly, Lotbiniere County, Quebec, Canada, at age 76 years, 1 month and 20 days. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Antione-de-Tilly on Thursday, 11 January 1753.7
