     Mary was born on Wednesday, 10 August 1803 in Berne Township, Fairfield County, Ohio. She was often referred to as Polly. Mary married Jacob Corfman III, son of Jacob Corfman II and Magdalena Bibler, on 1 March 1827 in Fairfield County. In 1828, the family moved to McCutchinville, Tymochtee Township, Wyandot County, Ohio. Jacob was a farmer, shoemaker, and undertaker at times. He was was a member of the Evangelical Church. Enumerated in this household were Jacob Corfman [64 Ohio], his wife: Mary [67 Ohio], children: Samuel [24 Ohio], Lavina [19 Ohio], domestic servant, Catharine Beery [19 Ohio] and farm laborer, John Bently [50 Ohio]. Jacob is a farmer.4 7 June 1880, Mary and her husband, Jacob, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Tymochtee Township. Enumerated in this household were Jacob Corfman [75 Ohio] & his wife, Mary [77 Ohio]. Jacob is a farmer.5 Mary's husband, Jacob, died on 27 June 1886 in Sycamore, Tymochtee Township leaving her a widow. Mary departed this life on Friday, 27 May 1887 in McCutchinsville, Tymochtee Township at age 83 years, 9 months and 17 days. She was buried there in Bibler Cemetery.6

Immigrated from Switzerland to Pennsylvania in 1727, page 35 - Mary Beery, known at Aunt Polly, was born in Fairfield County, Ohio, August 10, 1803. March 1, 1827, she married Jacob Corfman, and in 1828, they moved to Wyandot County, Ohio. Mr. Corfman was a farmer, shoemaker, and undertaker at intervals. He was greatly interested in religious matters and united with the Evangelical Church. The husband was a class leader and exhorter for nearly 30 years. He was born in Fairfield County, Ohio, January 7, 1806, and died near Sycamore, Ohio, June 27, 1886. Mrs. Corfam died May 17, 1887 and buried in the Bibler Cemetery. Children: Noah [April 8, 1828]; Sarah A. [August 1832]; Henry [July 18, 1829]; William [June 19, 1834]; Elisabeth [September 25, 1836]; John [--]; Daniel [March 22, 1841]; Mary M. [--];.
