Enumerated in this household were Jonathan Beery [38 Ohio], his wife: Magdalene [34 Ohio], children: Lydia [14 Ohio], Eliza A. [12 Ohio], Polly [10 Ohio], Abraham [8 Ohio], Barbary [3 Ohio], & Sarah A. [6/12 Ohio].5 29 June 1860, Jonathan and his wife, Magdalena, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Crane Township. Enumerated in this household were Jonathan Beery [46 Ohio], his wife: Magdalene [34 Ohio], children: Mary [21 Ohio], Abraham [18 Ohio], Barbara [14 Ohio], Magdalene [6 Ohio], Emily [5 Ohio], Samuel [2 Ohio], & John Corfman [21 Ohio].6 12 July 1870, Jonathan and his wife, Magdalena, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Crawford Township, Wyandot County, Ohio. Enumerated in this household were Jonathan Beery [56 Ohio], his wife: Magdaline [54 Ohio], children: Samuel [12 Ohio], Stephen [10 Ohio], & Emily [15 Ohio].7 1 June 1880, Jonathan and his wife, Magdalena, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Seneca Township, Seneca County, Ohio. Enumerated in this household were Jonathan Beery [67 Ohio - Virginia & Pennsylvania], his wife: Magdaline [64 Ohio - Pennsylvania & Virginia], children: Magdaline [26 Ohio], Emlly [24 Ohio], Samuel [22 Ohio], & Stephen [19 Ohio].8 Jonathan died on Thursday, 29 July 1880 in Seneca Township at age 67 years, 6 months and 8 days of a heart attack he suffered while hauling hay. He was buried there in Bibler Cemetery.

Immigrated from Switzerland to Pennsylvania in 1727, page 37 - 4th Generation: Jonathan Beery, born in Fairfield County, Ohio, January 21, 1813. On Jan. 8, 1835, he married Magdalena Corfman. They came to Wyandot County the same year and lived on a farm many years and later in McCutchenville. Jonathan, while hauling hay in that village died suddenly while hauling hay on July 29, 1880; buried in the Bibler Cemetery. Children: Lydia, Eliza, Mary, Abraham, Barbara, John, Sarah A., Magdalena, Emily C., Stephen & Samuel.
