Elizabeth Bastard

F, d. before 17 March 1591
     Elizabeth was born in Grimstone, County Norfolk, England. She was the daughter of Francis Bastard. Elizabeth married Humphrey Yelverton, son of William Yelverton and Anne Fermor, in 1572. Humphrey and his wife had children: Martha [chr. 2/07/1573] [m. Mr. Fincham & 2nd. Mr. Higham], Edward [circa 1577], Father Charles [6/05/1578-8/__1609], Anne [7/12/1579] [m. Mr Hawkins], Christopher [10/16/1581] & Elizabeth [circa 1583].1 Elizabeth made her will on 2 March 1589 at Kings Lynn, County Norfolk, England.

Elizabeth Yelverton of Kings Lynn, County Norfolk – to my son Charles Yelverton – to my daughter Martha Yelverton, to be brought up by uncle Richard Bastard – to my son Edward, the messuage etc in Kings Lynn to be sold by my uncle Richard Bastard. Children all under 21. She mentions her brothers Edward and Henry Bastard, sisters Frances, Elizabeth and Mary Bastard, other siblings and close relatives.2

Elizabeth departed this life in Kings Lynn. Her will was probated on 17 March 1591.
