     Thomas was born circa 1498 in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England. The family lived in the Forrens of Wendover which were lands in the township, but not a part of the Borough of Wendover. The Forrens consisted mainly of detached farm houses and cottages and was located mainly to the south of the town. Thomas married Jone Gynger in Buckinghamshire, England. Thomas and Jone had children: John and Agnes. Thomas made his will on 7 May 1522 at Wendover, Buckinghamshire, England.

Thomas Bawdewyn of the Forenyce (sic) of Wendover. My bodie to be buried in the churcheyarde of Our Lady of Wendover. To the high Awter. there 2d. To each of the viii lights ther 2d. To the reperation of the belles ther 6d. To the sustenacon of the torches ther 6d. To the chapell of Seynt Johns in the borowe, 2d. To Our Lady Churche of Lincoln, 2d. To each of my godchildren 2d. To John,my son £6 when he cometh to the age of 16 years. And in the mean tyme I will that Jone my wiff shall have the keeping gyding and rule thereof as long as she kepeth sole unmaryde. And when she entendith to mary then Robert Bawdewyn my father and John Gynger her father shall have delivered unto them the, said sum of £6 to the behoff of my said son John. To Agnes my daughter £4, when she comyth to the age of 16 years and her mother to have the keping in like manner.John my son shall have after his mothers decease, all my indenture holds and copyhold during the years of the same. Thomas departed this life in Wendover. He was buried there in the Churchyard of Our Lady of Wendover. As he directed in his will. His will was probated on 15 May 1522.

Bucks, page 247 - Thomas - By his will, dated 7 May 1522 and proved 15 May 1522, he gave £6 to his son John and £4 to his daughter Agnes when sixteen years of age. He made Joan, his wife, residuary legatee and executrix, and appointed his father, Robert Baldwin, and his wife’s father, John Gynger, overseers. His will was attested by John Baldwin of the Hale.
