George White

M, b. 1783, d. 1840
     George was born in 1783 in Rockingham County, Virginia. He was the son of George White Sr. & Mary Lunsford. George married Susannah Bibler, daughter of Jacob Bibler I and Katharina Hite, on 12 January 1808 in Fairfield County, Ohio.1 George and Susannah had children: Daughter [1809], James [1810], Samuel [8/27/1812-12/08/1896][m. 2/11/1836 Rachel Hemphill], Son [1815], Son [circa 1817], Daughter [circa 1819] Daughter [1822] & Jeremiah [1824]. The 1820 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Walnut Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, the family of George White [300010:21010].2 The 1830 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Perry Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, the family of George White [0112001:0111001].3 The couple donated the land for the Laurel Creek Church in 1831. The property was located in Perry Township, Hocking County, Ohio.4 George's wife, Susannah, died in 1836 in Perry Township leaving him a widower. George departed this life in 1840 in Perry Township at age 57 years.
