Roger Weston

M, d. before 28 January 1609
     Roger was born in County Essex, England. Roger married Margery Browne, daughter of Henry Browne and Agnes (?), circa 1580 in England. He was vicar of Wormingfourde. Roger's wife, Margery, died before 5 February 1605 in England, leaving him a widower. Roger made his will on 5 February 1605.

Roger Weston, Clerke, Vicor of Wormingford co. Essex. To Ann Weston my eldest daughter my house in Nayland [co. Suffolk] which I bought of Josua Spreade after the decease of Margery my wife. In like manner I give unto the saide Anne the parte of lande the which I bought of Margery my wife and John Speede. Item unto Avis my second daughter all those my landes and tenements that which I bought of Margery my wief and Josua Speede lyinge in Seamer, Whatfield and Nauton [co. Suffolk]. Item unto Elizabeth Weston all my coppie howse and lande lyeing in Hadlie, and ffortie poundes of lawfull mouney of England at the age of one and twentie. The reste of my goods parte and parte like to the three sisters Anne, Avis and Elizabeth, being the daughters of me the saide Roger Weston. I doe appoynte Doctor Duke my kynde cosen sole executor.1

He wrote a codicil to his will on 28 November 1608.

The said Roger Weston lyeing sicke in London, did further will unto his daughter Avis Greaton the some of ffiftie pounds which wa owinge unto him by her husbande, and unto his daughter Elizabeth Weston the some of threescore poundes over and above the ffortie poundes bequeathed unto her in his last will.

Roger departed this life before 28 January 1609 in London, County Middlesex, England. His will was probated on 28 January 1609. John Duke filed the papers.
