     Richard was probably born at Bassingbourne, Cambridgeshire, England. Richard married Beatrice (?) in England. His father names him when he wrote his will on 28 March 1557. His brother-in-law, John Foote mentions him in his will, although not dated, which was probated 18 July 1558. On 05 Feb 1572/73, he was among those named in his brother William's will.1 Richard made his will on 23 October 1580 at Bassingbourne, Cambridgeshire, England.

I, Richard Waller, of Bassingbourne, county Cambridge yeoman . . . Bettrice my wief my fourthe parte of the mannor of Rowses in Bassingbutmr, and my frenche Bridge Close wth thre halfe acres of Lande therunto belonginge . . . after hir decease to my brother Nicholas Waller. . . . saide Bettrice . . . all suche housholde stuffe as she broughte unto me . . . 'ten pounds, furniture, animals, wood, and wheat] . . . I bind my brother Nicholas to delivr surrendre to Bettrice my wiefe after my decease of his house at the Goose style, she havinge it duringe hir liefe . . . after hir decease to retorned to the aforesaide Nicholas . . . Alice Waller and Elizabeth Waller, the daughters of William Waller my brother Late deceased, each to receive five poungs when the age of 21 years is attained.. . . . all my brethren and sisters children [at 21, 40s] [if over 21--40s]. . . . to the thre children of John Marten [when 21--40s]. ... unto John Foote to be delivred unto him wthin thre yeares after my decease eighte poundes. . . . serv'ntes Michaell and Gwildinge. . . . Richard departed this life before 29 November 1580 in Bassingbourne, Cambridgeshire, England. His will was probated on 29 November 1580.
