Perseverance was born circa 1668 in South River, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Perseverance married John Bayly circa 1688 in Anne Arundel County. John and Perseverance had children: Robert [9/28/1690], Thomas [12/15/1693-12/16/1771], Alice [9/29/1696], John [8/30/1698], William [12/03/1700] & William [4/17/1704]. Perseverance departed this life in South River. She was buried there in All Hallows Church Cemetery on Tuesday, 14 October 1704.
