     John was born circa 1707 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. John married Hope Orne Orr on 19 July 1730 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island.2 He signed a petition to the Rhode Island Legislature in June 1728. By 1733, there is a deed in Glocester where John was given land by his father.3,4 John made his will on 31 January 1753 at Glocester, Smithfield Township, Providence County, Rhode Island.5 John departed this life in 1770 at Glocester, Smithfield Township, Providence County, Rhode Island. His will was probated on 17 November 1770.
