     Isaac was born in 1601 in Leyden, South Holland, Netherlands. Isaac removed from Leydon to Amsterdam sometime before his marriage in
1627, By 1632, he has removed to Leydon, Holland and then in 1662 to Harlaem, New York, He descends from Count Stephen Vermigli of Perugia, Italy which is close to Florence, twenty-five years after Columbus discovered America. [New Harlaem Post p. 310] Isaac married Jacomina Jacobs in 1627 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. They were members of the Dutch Reformed Church. On 12 October 1662, Isaac & his wife, Jacomina, left from Amsterdam aboard the ship, "Peirmerlander Kerch", under the command of Captain Benjamin Barentsz, bound for New England. Listed among the passengers were Isaac Vermilye, his wife & four children. They were charged 234 Franc for the voyage.. Isaac departed this life on Thursday, 12 September 1675 in Harlem, Westchester County, New York.
