Jean-Francois Valois

     Jean-Francois was born on Friday, 1 August 1755 in Ile-DuPas, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 2 August 1755 in the church of La Visitation.1 Jean-Francois married Marguerite Dandonneau, daughter of Charles Dandonneau and Therese Salvail, on 24 January 1780 in Ile-DuPas, Quebec, Canada, at the church of La Visitation.2 Jean-Francois & Marguerite had a son, Francois [10/28/1780-12/10/1835][m.9/28/1801 Theotiste Paquin]. Jean-Francois's wife, Marguerite, died on 9 November 1780 in Ile-DuPas leaving him a widower. He married second on 7 June 1784, Marie Joseph Coutu and third on 18 June 1792, Marie Anne Desorcy. Both marriages were at Ile-Dupas. Jean-Francois departed this life on Wednesday, 9 November 1831 in Ile-DuPas at age 76 years, 3 months and 8 days. He was buried there in the churchyard of La Visitation on Friday, 11 November 1831.3
