Elisabeth Trottier

     Elisabeth was born in Batiscan, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Jean Trothier & Genevieve Lafond. She was christened there on 30 June 1693 in St-Francois-Xavier Church.¹ Elisabeth married Antoine Germain, son of Robert Germain and Marie Coignard, on 11 February 1710 in Batiscan at St-Francois-Xavier Church.² Antoine & Elisabeth had children: Elisabeth [1711-6/01/1794][m. 11/07/1729 Adrien Piche], Alexis [4/13/1713-2/21/1804][m. 10/29/1738 Elisabeth-Isabelle Biquet], Jean-Baptiste [5/18/1715-7/18/1784][m. 11/04/1738 Marie-Therese Toupin dit Dussault], Joseph-Marie [2/24/1717-5/06/1751], Joseph [10/18/1718-5/06/1751][m. 5/28/1739 Marie Angelique Biquet], Antoine [9/24/1720-10/15/1790][m. 11/27/1742 Marie Angelique Page], Pierre [9/27/1722-4/22/1776][m. 10/16/1747 Marie Marcotte dit Janot], Francois [1/25/1725-2/11/1781][m. 10/25/1751 Marie Madeleinne Biquet], Marie-Joseph [8/11/1727-1/20/1734] & Adrien [7/22/1729-2/01/1734].³ Elisabeth's husband, Antoine, died on 21 June 1734 in ville de Quebec at Hotel-Dieu leaving her a widow. Elisabeth departed this life after 25 October 1751. She was still living at the marriage of her son, Francois.
