Deborah Thomas

F, d. after 24 January 1708
     Deborah was born in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. She was probably the daughter of Nathaniel & Deborah Thomas. Deborah married George Soule, son of George Soule and Mary Becket, circa 1670 in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Deborah made her will on 24 January 1708.

"The 24th Day of January in the year 1708/1709 - I Deborah Soule of Dartmouth in the county of Bristol in Her Majesties province of Massachusetts Bay in New England, wife of George Soule Juhior Late of Dartmouth, deceased, being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God, therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body do make and ordain this last will and Testament, that is to say: Principally and first of all I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Soule whom I constitute to be my Sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament, all my estate within doors and without, paying all lawful debts and legisies.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my son William Soule five shillings. Item: I give and bequeath to my son Nathan Soule won (one) shilling. Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Soule Devel six shillings. Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Lediah Brownwell six shillings.
Item: I give and bequeath to Mary Soule daughter of my son George Soule, deceased, three shillings and I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke and disannul all and every other testimonial, wills, legacies and bequeaths rectifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the day and year abovewritten, Signed Sealed as my last will and testament by the said Debrah Soule in the presence of us the Subscribers the word in the third line is interlined before the insealing hereof

Deborah departed this life after 24 January 1708 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. The inventory of Deborah's estate was taken on Saturday, 1 March 1710. It was valued at 26 pounds. Her will was probated on 1 March 1709/10.
