     Mary was born on Sunday, 21 January 1781 in Sussex County, New Jersey. Mary married Charles Beardslee Jr., son of Colonel Charles Beardsley and Mary Cary, circa 1795 in Hardyston, Sandyston Township, Sussex County, New Jersey. Charles & Mary had children: Charles [2/25/1806-1827][m. Rebecca Farber], Thomas [7/7/1800-1864][single], Isaac [9/15/1801-12/05/1861][m. Catherine Struble [4/11/1804-1/25;1869]], Lewis [11/08/1804-8/06/1860][m. Mary Philips], Jonas [11/30/1807-11/14/1880][m. Eunice Wade], Elias [4/17/1810-after 1880][single], Clarissa [3/28/1812-12/10/1848][m. 10/12/1835 Elias Frost], Samuel Scofield [3/23/1814-12/02/1863][m. Sarah Kimble [1813-1877]], George [7/09/1816-9/22/1892][m. Bethiah Tuttle] & Jehiel [6/11/1818-1819].2 Mary's husband, an unknown person , died on 25 March 1818 in Hardyston, Sandyston Township, Sussex County, New Jersey, leaving her a widow. Mary departed this life on Wednesday, 29 January 1845 in Hardyston, Sandyston Township at age 64 years and 8 days. She was buried there in Franklin Corners in the Old North Church Cemetery. The cemetery is now called North Hardyston Cemetery. The inscrption on her stone read: Mary wife of Charles Beardslee - DIED 29 Jan. 21 1845 - Age 61 years 3 days.3
