Nicholas Salade

M, b. 19 January 1732, d. 15 July 1797
     Nicholas was born on Saturday, 19 January 1732 in Bergzabern, Südliche Weinstraße, Bayern, Germany. He was the son of Johann Philip Solalde and MarievSophia Vierling.1 Nicholas married Anna Elisabetha Hess on 12 May 1750 in Bergzabern, Südliche Weinstraße, Bayern, Germany. In 1752, Nicholas & his wife, Anna, left Amsteredam aboard the ship, "Snow Ketty", bound for Pennslvania. They landed at Philadelphia, and Nicholas took the oath of allegiance on the 18th of October.2 Nicolas and his 2 broters, John And Michael, foght in the Revoluntionary War as did his sons. Nicholas departed this life on Saturday, 15 July 1797 in Womelsdorf, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Woxall, Upper Salford Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.3
