Edith was born in Yorkshire, England. She was the daughter of William Reresby. She was first married to George Markham of Idleston, Yorkshire. They had several children. Edith married 2nd Henry Hunloke, son of Nicholas Hunloke , Esquire and Elizabeth Barlow, after 21 September 1601 in England.
