Hannah Prence

     Hannah was born circa 1635. She was the daughter of Governor Thomas Prence & Patience Brewster, daughter of William Brewster.. Hannah married Nathaniel Mayo, son of Reverand John Mayo and Tamisen Brike, on 13 February 1650 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1,2 Nathaniel & Hannah had children: Thomas [12/07/1650-4/22/1729][m. 6/13/1677 Barbara Knowles], Nathaniel [11/16/1652-11/30/1709][m. 1/28/1678 Elizabeth Wixam], Samuel [10/12/1655-10/29/1738][m. 1680 Ruth Hopkins & 2nd 8/31/1727 Mary Sweat], Hannah [10/17/1657], Theophilius [12/17/1659] & Bathshebah [12/__/1661].3 Hannah's husband, Nathaniel, died before 4 March 1662, leaving her a widow. Hannah married second, Jonathan Sparrow, sometime after 19 October 1677, the date that Jonathan's first wife, Rebecca Bangs died. Hannah departed this life before 23 November 1698 in Eastham. On this date, her husband, Jonathan, married for the third time, Sarah Lewis.
