     John le was born circa 1360 in Worchestershire, England. He held a moiety of the manor of Wichenford during the reigns of Edward III [1327-1377] & Richard II [1377-1399]. He & his family resided here. He inherited his lands from the Chamberlains, they from John de Haseleigh, and he from David St. Michael. His daughter, Margery, wife of Norman Washbourne, was his sole heir.

Hugh le Poher was Deputy-Sheriff of the county in the 16th of Henry II [1159]; Walter le Poher in the 9th, 10th, 11th of John [1162-1164]; and Hygh le Poher in the 8th, 14th, 19th, and 20th of Henry III [1223, 1229, 1234 & 1235]. John le Poher held a moiety of the manor of Wichenford in the reigns of Edward III [1327-1377], and Richard II [1377-1399].
