Manaseth was born circa 1640 in New England. He attended Harvard in 1656-1659. He was known as resident of Newtown in 1662. It appears he was married to a Miss Withington by 1655 as he then witnessed a deed by his father-in-law. It is possible that the father-in-law was instead Mr. Withington and that he was not married. This bears further research. Manaseth departed this life before 1698 in Queens County, Long Island, New York.
