Marie-Catherine Neveu

     Marie-Catherine was born in Champlain, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Adrien Neveu & Marie Rene Dandonneau. She was christened there on 18 March 1697 in the church of La Visitation.1 Marie-Catherine married Pierre Caillas, son of Pierre Caillas and Marie-Therese Aure, on 12 January 1722 in Champlain at the church of La Visitation.2 Pierre & Marie-Catherine had children: Marie-Marguerite [11/05/1722-10/06/1807][m. 2/16/1741 Joseph-Marie Rainville],
Antoine-Alexis [5/08/17824-6/08/1725], Therese [1727-3/08/1813][m. 1/30/1747 Antoine-Regis Valois & 2nd 10/19/1756 Jean-Baptiste Coutu] & Joseph [4/14/1730-1/25/1794][m. 4/24/1752 Marie Josephe Carpentier].3 Marie-Catherine departed this life in Ile-DuPas, Quebec, Canada. She was buried there in the churchyard of La Visitation on Sunday, 22 April 1731.4
