     Michael was born in 1817 in Quebec, Canada. Michael Morrow was also known as Moreauno. Michael Morrow also went by the name of Mitchell. Michael Morrow was also known as Moron. Michael Morrow was also known as Morro. Michael Morrow was also known as Marou. Michael married Eliza Sherbineau, daughter of Francis Sherboneau and Catherine Gaumis, on 9 January 1844 in Bellleville at St. Michael the Archangel Church. Their witnesses were Francis Sharbino & Rose Flinn.1 He also spelled his last name "Merau".

According to land records on 4 October 1870, Mitchell Morin purchased from Sarah Russell, the east 100 acres of lot 23 in the tenth concession. This land was near the town of Bogart & on the Clare River. He was listed on this land on the agricultural census of 1861. He leaves it to his two youngest sons in his will. He also owned a home in the village of Stoco. Michael Morrow lived in 1861 at the east 1/2 of lot 23 in the 10th concession, Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. His property was next to Etienne Morrow. It is believed that they were brothers & their wives sisters. Michael and his wife, Eliza, were listed on the 1861 Canadian Census in Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Mitchell/Mikhell Morrow [40 Canada East, Roman Catholic], Elisa [35 Canada West, Roman Catholic], Julia [15 Canada West], Emily [14 Canada West], Eleanor [11 Canada West], Barbara [9 Canada West], Lelila [7 Canada West], Julian [5 Canada West Canada West], Oliver [3 Canada West], Tobias [2 Canada West]. [District 5, page 82] On Agriculture Census, Michael Morrow owned 100 acres, 25 Cultivated; Total Value $200.00. Description: E 1/2 Lot 23, Concession X. Michael Morrow married Elizabeth (?) after 12 January 1868. Michael married 2nd Arlott Shanque on 24 June 1869 in Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. Her name was also thought to be Charlotte or Harriett.2 Michael Morrow was New Tag On 4 October 1870, Mitchell Morin purchased from Sarah Russell, the east 1/2 of lot 23 in the tenth concession containing 100 acres. This land was near the town of Bogart & on the Clare River. on 4 October 1870 at the east 1/2 of lot 23 in the 10th concession, Hundingdon County, Pennsylvania.3 Michael and his wife, Elizabeth, were listed on the 1871 Canadian Census in Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Mitchael Morrow [50 Ontario], Eliza [55 Ontario], Erma [24 Ontario], Ellen [19 Ontario], Julian [14 Ontario], Oliver [14 Ontario], Tobias [12 Ontario], Michael [9 Ontario], Elizabeth [4 Ontario]. [District 3, page 41, Hastings East] Michael made his will 12 September 1879 at Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada.

This is the Last Will and Testament of One Mitchell Morrow of the Township of Hungerford in the County of Hasting and Province of Ontario yeoman, Made this Twelfth day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Nine.
First I hereby constitute and appoint Patrick Murphy of the village of Stoco, Michael and Thomas W. Mulroony of the same place Blacksmith to be the sole Executors of this my Last Will directing my Said executors to pay all my just debt and Funeral Expenses and to Erect headstone at my grave to cost not less than one hundred Dollars and the
Legacies hereinafter given out of my estate Second, after the above payments are maid I Give to my Five oldest Daughters Julia Emily, Elen Barbary, Lelila, Twenty Dollars each an to my youngest Daughter Eliza I give my house and Lot in Stoco to have the rents and profits until she becomes of age and when she becomes of age to have the whole right-and title of the place for Ever And my Two Sons Julian and Oliver to Get Two Hundred Dollars in Cash and My Two other Sons Tobias and Michael to have my Farm on Clair River being the East Half of Lot No 23 in the Tenth Concession of the Township of Hungerford and all the other real and personal Estate or Property owned by Me at the time of my decease Third, as Long as My Wife Lotty Morrow Can agree with Tobias and Michael She is to have her living on the Place with them and if they Cannot agree She is to her own household food and one Cow and one Hog for her own use the above Legacies are not to be paid until Two years after My Death and are to paid out of the Property Left to Tobias and Michael and when all the debts and Legacies are paid My Tow Sons Tobias and Michael are to Share Eaquely alike in the Said Live Stock and if the Said debts and Lagacies be paid otherwise I authorize My Said Executors to Mortgage or Sell the Said Land on Clair River and pay the Said debts and Legacies In witness whereof I have herewith set my hand and seal the day and year above written

Michael died on Friday, 31 December 1880 at Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, at age 63 years from cancer of the throat. Michael was laid to rest in the yard of St. Edmund Church, Village of Stoco, Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, in plot 441 alongside his wife. The inscription on his tombstone reads: Michael Meraw died -- 31 December 1880 - age 63 years. The stone is round & white.4,5
