     Mary Anna was born on Monday, 24 March 1902 in Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. Mary Anna Meraw also went by the name of Annie. She was a nurse. On 5 February 1926, Annie immigrated to Detroit, Micnigan where she had several cousins living.1 Her married name was Hunt. Mary Anna married Daniel Hunt circa 1927. In 1932, the family resided in Newburgh, Ontario. Annie died on Saturday, 12 August 1933 at Richmond Township, Lennox & Addington County, Ontario, Canada, at age 31 years, 4 months and 19 days injuries received in a car accident.2 Mary was laid to rest in the yard of St. Carthagh Church, Village of Tweed, Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, in grave number 247. The inscription on her stone reads: Mary Ann Meraw 1902-1933 wife of D. Hunt.3
