     Clarence Louis was born on Wednesday, 20 August 1902 in Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. On 7 September 1902, he was christened in Village of Stoco, Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, at St. Edmund's Church.2 On 7 June 1926, he left Madoc to reside in Detroit, Michigan. He was a grocery clerk. On his border pass, he was described as being 5’7” tall, brown hair, black eyes & a dark complexion. He returned to Hungeroford Township before his marriage.3 Clarence married Mary Irene Trudeau on 30 October 1939 in Hungerford Township. Clarence departed this life on Sunday, 12 April 1964 in Village of Tweed, Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, at age 61 years, 7 months and 23 days. Clarence was laid to rest in the yard of St. Carthagh Church, Village of Tweed, Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, in grave number 64.4
