     Charles Antoine was born on Sunday, 15 June 1851 in Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. On 8 October 1851, an unknown person was christened at St. Edmund's Church, Village of Stoco, Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. By Father D. Begley. His sponsors were Antoine Morou & Missy L'Nolere.1 On 20 December 1884, Francis Marrow leaves the south 1/2 of lot 14 of the 11th concession to his son, Charles Marrow, The stipulation was made that he provide for his mother, Mary Marrow. The will was registered 16 April 1886.2 Charles married Ellen Hawkins on 29 October 1889 in Village of Stoco, Hungerford Township at St. Edmund's Church. Charles & Ellen had no children. Charles sold 100 acres of the south ½ and 10 acres southeast corner of North ½ of lot 14 in the 11th concession to his brother Francis for $4000.00.3 Charles was listed on the 1901 Canadian census living with his parents in Hugoton, Stevens County, Kansas. Enumberated in the household were Gabriel Morrow [4 Sep 1846-54], Mary E. [1 Mar 1850-51], Charles A Meraw [15 Jun 1851-49][brother-in-][law], Ellen [12 July 1861-38][sister-inlaw]. [District 3, page 12 - Hungerford East][Note: Charles & Ellen must have been visiting Gabriel & Mary as they are also found together on the census again.-klm] Charles was listed on the 1901 Canadian Census in Village of Tweed, Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Charles A. Meraw [22 June 1851-49], Ellen [1865-25]. [Dist. 5, sub. dist. D2, page 4, line 4] Charles died on Thursday, 9 March 1916 at the Village Tweed, Hungerford Twp., Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, at age 64 years, 8 months and 23 days of acute dilation of heart.4 Charles was laid to rest in the yard of St. Edmund Church, Village of Stoco, Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, His family was buried in plots 297 & 298. The inscription on the tombstone reads: Charles A. Meraw 9 March 1916 age 65 years & Ellen Hawkins, His Wife 1862-1935.5
