Ambroise Merand

     IMPORTANT NOTE: We have tried to find a connection between these men residing in Hungerford Township but so far have not been able to make a concrete connection. Michael & Etienne are brothers. With the similiarity in the spelling of the name on the 1861 census & on land records, we do believe them to be brothers or atleast closely related. Ambroise married Julie Rivard dit Lanouette in 1813 in Ste-Anne-de-la-Perade. Ambroise Merand married Morrow Family (?) an unknown date at Quebec, Canada.
